Today we ventured out in front of the pump house through the rushes and found anywhere from 1 to 5 inches of ice. There was a few soft spots along the shorelines. We were seeing anything from 4 to 5 inches of ice throughout the rushes. Once we got past the rushes we found 1 to 2 inches of ice with one hit using a spud bar. We do not advise fishing at this time – if you do decide to venture out a spud bar and set of cleats are a MUST!
